Officially, NGP Sony introduced the PlayStation Vita



CALIFORNIA – Sony has finally officially introduced the latest generation of the Playstation Portable (PSP). But Japan-based company did not use the name of the Next Generation Portable (NGP), but the Playstation Vita (PSVita).

For information, ‘Vita’ meaning ‘life’ in Latin and Italian. Even so, not yet certain whether Sony really will name the newest portable gaming device with this name.

Currently as reported by CrunchGear, Tuesday (06/07/2011), Sony will throw a party of PS Vita next summer. With prices for wifi version of USD249, while for the 3G model is priced at USD299.

In the model, PS Vita brings back seems like the PSP version of the first model and not sliding as it had been adopted on the PSP GO.

Year 2011 seems to be a busy year for Sony. In addition to developing Vita PlayStation, Sony PlayStation reportedly also planning to release a fourth generation (PS4), although not yet known when the game console that will be published.
